Treasures from Tuscany

tasting of wines, cheeses, olive oils
& balsamic vinegars from Tuscany

Sommeliers from The Savvy Grapes
recently traveled to Tuscany & during this sold out event, they shared stories about
their wine adventures. Debbie
Trenholm picked
grapes during the grape harvest, Susan Desjardins practiced her Italian while
meeting winemakers over a glass of vino under the Tuscan sun & Gina
Wolgemuth (Sommelier in training) worked at a family run winery this past
spring…. & we can’t wait to go back!
During this evening, our guests:
-
sampled wines from small & large Tuscan wineries
-
tasted the difference in olive oils
-
enjoyed an assortment of Tuscan cheeses,
-
savoured a range of balsamic vinegars.
The
wines selected were available at the LCBO so that the participants could continue to
enjoy Tuscan wines with their friends after this event.
As
they say in Italy...Salute!
