2008 - What is in your glass?
Debbie led hosts Kurt & Karen as they experienced a
blind wine tasting... blindfolded! As they sipped & guessed the
differences in the wines, they showed that it isn't easy, yet lots of
fun!
December 2007 - Which wines with Turkey??? Debbie & host Kurt Stoodley sipped through a variety of wines to enjoy with the upcoming Christmas turkey feast.
May 2007 - What is
Organic Wine?? Debbie
& host Kurt Stoodley started the day sipping organic wines to figure
out if you can really taste the difference.
February 2006 -
Debbie
presented Canadian wines to pair with the Roasted Duck appetizer that
Embassy West Hotel Executive Chef Dan Halden prepared at the
studio. This dish was one of the many that were served at the
annual Chefs
Charity Cafe fundraising food & wine lunch event.
January 2006 - Sommeliers Debbie & Jean-Sebastien with host Karen started the morning off right by sampling a range of ports. Debbie & JS explained the difference of white, ruby, tawny and vintage ports & had a range of food pairings to enjoy.

May 2006 - Host Lianne Liang invited Debbie along with scotch educator Tim Collins, to present six different single malts that were going to be featured in The Savvy Grapes 'Discover the Wonderful World of Single Malt' scotch tasting.

Debbie collaborated with A Channel host Kurt Stoodley on a 3 part series entitled 'The
Art of Wine' that aired Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday
March 27-29th at 6:20pm. Debbie explained
the 'fun'damentals of wine appreciation, tips on how to shop for wine at the LCBO &
how to host a wine tasting party in your own home.
June 2005 - Debbie presented wines that have been matched with the 10th annual Midsummer Herbfest Chef Cook-off (event date: July 24, 2005). Debbie was the Sommelier for this annual event that showcased new local chefs using favorite herbs in their cooking demonstrations. More about Midsummer Herbfest
February 2005 - Debbie led Karen & Sonia through a wine tasting of
wines that will be featured at Toasting Talent winemakers' dinner. Chef
Wetscher of the Crowne Plaza Hotel demonstrated how to prepare the Roast
Duck Salad that will be served during this fun dinner.

Accredited Sommelier Debbie Trenholm is up for the challenge! With
only a few hours notice, Debbie pulls wines out of her cellar to pair with
the creations made on air by executive chef Scott Lucas from TRIO
Restaurant at Novotel Ottawa hotel.

With only 2 hours notice, Debbie pulled wines out of her cellar
to pair with the new 'Tick Tack Toe' salmon, tuna & beef tartar
created by executive chef Michael Blackie of Brookstreet Hotel.

2007 - Happy Nouveau Beaujolais Day!
Debbie explained the importance of the third Thursday of
November with the release of Nouveau Beaujolais wines. She also showcased wines to serve at
upcoming holiday parties.
